Three irreversible actions: transfer ownership (one-click), data export (concierge), workspace deletion (concierge). Owner-only.
Danger zone
The danger zone holds three actions that are either irreversible or significant enough to deserve their own confirmation flow:
- Transfer ownership — one-click in the app.
- Request data export — currently routed through our support team.
- Request workspace deletion — currently routed through our support team.
Open Settings → Danger zone. Only the owner can see and use this page.
Transfer ownership
Move the owner role to another admin. Atomic and irreversible from your side: once transferred, you become admin and the new person becomes owner. They can transfer it back, but only they can.

Request data export
Get a full JSON dump of your workspace data. Today this is a concierge request: clicking Export opens an email to hello@ochrehq.com pre-filled with your workspace name. We queue the export, run it, and email back a download link, usually within one business day.

Request workspace deletion
Permanently delete the workspace. Today this is also a concierge request: clicking Delete opens an email to hello@ochrehq.com. We confirm, schedule the deletion for 30 days out, and during the grace period the workspace is held in a read-only state so you can still pull data out if needed.
After the 30-day grace, all workspace data is hard-deleted and unrecoverable.

Why concierge for export and deletion
Both actions are rare and high-impact. Routing them through a real human gives us a chance to confirm intent, ask any questions about timing, and make sure nothing important is lost. The mailto buttons pre-fill subject and body with your org name so we know exactly which workspace is asking.
We may move these to one-click flows in the future. For now, concierge is the path.
Who can use the danger zone
Only the owner. Admins do not see the page at all. If you need an admin to perform any of these actions, transfer ownership first.
Common questions
Can I cancel a deletion request? Yes, during the 30-day grace period — just reply to the deletion-confirmation email.
Can I export after deletion is final? No. Always export before requesting deletion.
Does deletion cancel my subscription? Yes. We coordinate the Stripe-side cancellation as part of the deletion handoff. See cancellation.
